Scomar 15,000 sq.ft refit for global brand management company. The global brand management company, Trident UK, has been going from strength to strength, winning numerous awards - such as the Financial Times Top 50 Places to Work - and piling on new business.
Having recently consolidated from two locations in Beverley, to a converted warehouse on Kingswood Business Park, Hull, Trident thought their office space problems were over.
Companies such as Procter & Gamble, The Body Shop and Boots had other plans however, and soon there was an immediate need to accommodate 100 additional staff and growth projections for 200.
Scomar was selected after a comprehensive review of the country's leading office interior companies, to convert and refit the unused 15,000 sq. ft. first floor
A s Company Director David Keel explains: "Scomar took the time to explain the benefits of space management. They took us step by step through the process, involved everyone in the decision process and indulged us in our fantasies."
The design not only had to hit financial and ergonomic targets, it also had to be spot on aesthetically - an environment that would not only help attract and retain top quality staff, but also make top London Design Agency clients feel at home.
It was a tall order, but after an 8 week consultation and joint collaboration, the plans were complete. One of the focal points to come from this teamwork, was the striking exposed ceiling and industrial feel of the design - a feature other companies said could not be done.
Trident were expecting a period of disruption: noise, dirt, blaring radios, broken promises and power lines. The reality was completely different: "You wouldn't know they were there, the whole thing went like clockwork... we even had client visits and they had no idea of the massive transformation taking place up stairs" said Mr Keel. "We are delighted with the results. Scomar surpassed our highest expectations."
