Scomar has just completed the Design and Installation of Glazed and Solid Partition walls to the New Headquarters for Grimsby based Shoreline Housing.

The Installation comprised

Optima 97 Solid Drywall was installed and is recognised as the most advanced drywall system available on the market today. With unique tapeable aluminium powder coated trims used in conjunction with joggled studs, ensure you a perfectly true distortion free solid wall, unachievable with traditional drywall systems. The single boarded system has a sound performance of RW43dB.

Optima 117 Single glazed system is an innovative single glazed partitioning system and gives the incredible vision of a vast area of unsupported glass and was installed to areas were a mid range sound performance was required, including feature walls of facetted glazing with the companies logo printed in Opal Frost Manifestation.

Optima 217 Double glazed system was installed, it is 64mm overall thickness giving a slimline appearance. It is a highly versatile double glazed partitioning system offering a unique hidden mullion to give a frameless appearance and complete with integral Venetian blinds it met the client's criteria of a high level of sound performance and privacy levels giving a sound attenuation of RW43dB. Architectural quality American White Oak veneered doors with DDA compliant vision panels and matching overpanels were fitted into a Microflush powder coated doorframe.

To the meeting Rooms Scomar installed an Acoustic Folding wall capable of sub dividing the large first floor meeting room. The door was finished in a complementary Oak panel finish and achieved a sound attenuation of RW45dB.
